This lovely 'The Marvin' Burns was in the workshop to have issues with it's zero nut sorted. The previous owner ran really heavy gauge strings, (Hank's own brand strings more than likely) and the zero nut was worn, causing pinking when the lighter strings were bent. The zeronut was slightly recrowned and polished to a shine, along with a small amount of work to the nut to ensure the string was held better in place. Interestingly enough only 2004 of these guitars were ever made, making them very rare instruments! This one happened to be the second one that we've worked on! |
