This lovely vintage 1960's Hofner Verithin was brought in the workshop suffering with electrical issues. Getting into the wiring, it became apparent that the main problem was the earthing wire had snapped sometime in the past at it's anchor point. A bit of a tight working space but a new earthing wire was installed along with dry solder joints resoldered. The pots were also cleaned with contact cleaner to remove any crackles due to the age of the pots! |

It does need some tidying up, but for it's age, it's not too bad. About to embark on sorting out the electrics... and a little adjustment

Nice! Wiring can be a tricky due to the limited access, just mask everything off around the F hole as it's your only access to get the pots in/out of the guitar, Good luck and have fun!
