 | This vintage Dulcet classical guitar was recently in the workshop to have it’s bridge reglued after separating from the body! The guitar as brought in, the glue had failed on the bridge causing it to detach from the body! It had huge sentimental value to the customer and was really rewarding to repair it! |

The old glue was carefully cleaned off the guitar top and the detached bridge, to allow the new glue clean wood fibres to soak into. The next step was reattaching the bridge to the guitar.

Before the bridge was reglued, the correct position was located. Locating pins and holes were drilled and fitted to ensure the correct position when clamped and glued.
The next step was gluing clamping the bridge, and clamped. The area is left quite open to allow access for the excess glue to be wiped away!
Once repaired, the guitar was detail cleaned and restrung ready for many more years of use!
