This ace Fender Telecaster was recently in the workshop to have it’s frets recrowned, a setup and a new bone nut hand carved to replace its worn out original one. The slots on the current nut were so low they were causing playability issues.
Below shows the process of removing the old nut and cutting the new one, using the existing one as a template for string spacing.
