This ace Kentucky Mandolin was recently in the workshop to have a K&K pickup installed, plus a strap button while it was in!
Due to the K&K being internally mounted and the bridge tailpiece, the barrel jacksocket and wiring had to be changed to allow the pickup to be fitted. A Switchcraft jacksocket was fitted to the bottom side of the Mandolin and the wires from the pickup were shortened/lengthened to allow the pickup to be fitted correctly!
