Maverick bass Detail clean and MOT

This rare Maverick bass guitar was recently in the workshop for a MOT and deep clean. It’s serial number was 00067 making it one of the first basses made in this model!

Hi there, incredible job on the clean up. I know this is an old post now but where did you find the serial on this? I have one n was wondering where it was on the bass. Cheers

Hi Dan,
Thanks, the serial numbers for these are on the back of the headstock. The early ones are stamped into the wood rather than printed.
I have come across one Maverick which hasn't had a serial number, this was a sample one, which you could tell due to it's design and it's finish.

Thanks for the reply, wasnt sure if I'd get one with how old this post is but i appreciate your time. I found my serial number and its stamped like yours. Hadn't actually had mine out in a while so i asked before actually checking as i didn't remember seeing it on there but sure enough 00025. Thanks
