This ace 80’s Japanese Epiphone acoustic was recently in the workshop for a new hand cut bone nut to replace the broken original one!
The original nut had broken off at the top e string, before the new nut could be made the nut slot was cleaned of old glue!

Mid way through the bone blank being cut and shaped to fit the guitar.
The slots were cut in the new nut using the original as a template to keep the feel of the guitar the same!

With the new nut complete the guitar was restrung, detail cleaned and setup before being ready to return to the customer!
