 | We have so many different types of repairs through the workshop, thought we would share a simple repair, This Tanglewood acoustic was brought in for some TLC, including a problem with it's jacksocket. At some stage the previous owner had tried to repair the fact that the wood surrounding the jacksocket had broken away, by making a crude mounting plate. We removed the plate, and used it to make a large washer to fit inside the guitar, giving the jacksocket much needed support around the damaged wood, before a new jacksocket plate was fitted. |
